Blessed Sacrament School Registration

Blessed Sacrament School registration is now underway for the 2008-2009 School year. Preschool registration is open to students that will be 3 or 4 years of age by September 1st. Kindergarten registration is open to children that will be 5 years of age by September 1st. Copies of Birth and baptismal certificates must be presented at registration. All forms and fees are due by Friday, May 30th, 2008.

If your address or phone number(s) should change during the summer, please let us know at the beginning of the school year so we can update our information.

We will not be having a formal enrollment in August as in the past.  Please make sure your paperwork is returned as soon as possible to complete the enrollment process for the 2008-2009 school year. To download a checklist to help get you started, click here.

Regarding Preschool registrations for our 3 yr. and 4 yr. old programs, three year olds must be 3 and four year olds must be 4 by September 1, 2008. We will be offering a morning 3 year old program on Tuesday/Thursday from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. and a morning and afternoon 4 year old program on Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. and 12:15 – 3:15 p.m. The number of students that sign-up will determine whether we have enough 3 year old students to offer a second session in the afternoon. Only 15 slots are reserved for each session. Registration will be processed on a first come, first serve basis. $50.00 non-refundable deposit is due with the registration form to hold your place. Immunization Reminder
Please remember that beginning with the 2007-2008 school year, TWO doses of chicken pox vaccine (varicella) are REQUIRED by the state of Kansas for students entering kindergarten or first grade. Children who have had the disease will not need the vaccinations; however, you must provide proof, with a date of illness and a doctor’s signature. The hepatitis B series is REQUIRED for any Kansas student enrolling in kindergarten, first, second or third grade. Please take care of these vaccinations during the summer months, before the rush of the new school year.

The child's immunization record must be complete and the green State Immunization Form must be on file at the office.

Physical Education - Middle School
Middle School students will not be leaving a pair of tennis shoes at school for P.E. classes next school year.  Instead, middle school students will be required to wear tennis shoes to school on the days they will be having P.E. class.  This will allow more time for the activity during P.E. class instead of spending time changing into P.E. shoes at the beginning of the period and back into other shoes at the end of the P.E. period.  All students in grades K-5 will continue to leave a pair of tennis shoes in their homeroom that will be used only for P.E. classes.
