Organizational Protocol
The protocol for inquiries related to issues involving your child is to go to the person involved first. If your concern is still not settled, or if you are unhappy regarding the outcome of the matter, the next step is to go to the Principal. If you are still not satisfied, you can then go to the Pastor. It is the policy of Blessed Sacrament School to work matters out with parents and to hear out concerns politely and with an open mind. It is also expected that parents and students operate under these same standards. Matters of concern are private matters that concern the parent and the staff individual only (or the student and the teacher only).
Please delay resolving issues with your children until you have heard out all parties related to the matter.
Everyone must understand that it is the prerogative of the school/parish to have the final decision in the resolution of conflict. So long as these decisions uphold the policies and procedures of the school, it is vital that we all support them, especially in terms of upholding the authority of the school as an example to your children. Forgiveness, good intentions, and restitution are integral qualities of all school citizens regarding matters involving human error or irreconcilable differences.
