Blessed Sacrament students sorted and boxed donated school supplies last Thursday that had been collected in tubs and a plastic swimming pool for a mission school in Kingston, Jamaica (Spanish Town) run by Msgr. Richard Albert, the Episcopal Vicar for the Archdiocese of Kingston. Father Jim Gaughn from Food for the Poor, spoke at all the masses here on Sunday, Feb. 25 and preached on the missionary efforts of the organization. The students have been collecting items since his talk and the parish and students have donated school furniture, supplies and books to the impoverished schools of the Caribbean and Latin America.
