Hi! My name is Glenna Weir and I am the teacher for the Pre-Kindergarten classes. I grew up in Wichita and Salina, and have lived in Kansas all my life. I started teaching second grade at St. Margaret Mary's in 1971. I then stayed home for twelve years with our four children. My next job was teaching preschool at East Heights United Methodist Church, where I spent tweve happy years. Next I taught Kindergarten and first grade at St. Thomas Aquinas. I came to Blessed Sacrament six years ago as the half-day Kindergarten teacher. When Mr. Grogan asked if I would be interested in teaching preschool again, I jumped at the chance! The rest is history!

I love teaching preschool because the children are so eager to learn. They are excited and proud when they accomplish something new, or learn a new skill. I feel that it is so important to lay a good foundation for success in school, and that's what we do in preschool.
