Mrs. Cathey will be teaching 7th/8th English, Spanish elective and 8th Spanish. She recently moved to Wichita from Kansas City.

She has a degree from KU in English Literature. After college, she worked for the Ombudsman School, an alternative school serving districts near Raymore, Missouri. She was appointed director of that school for the ’06-’07 school year. While in KC, Mrs. Cathey obtained her teaching certificate and began working toward her Masters in Education at Avila University.

She is enjoying her move back to Wichita with husband, Mark, and is excited about living in the College Hill area.
