I graduated from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, VA with a K-9 teaching certificate and a BA in History.  I taught for four years at St. Mary's School in Richmond, VA and then two years at St. Joseph's School in Wichita.  I was blessed and so lucky to spend ten years at home taking care of my boys.  I was also very lucky to begin teaching at Blessed Sacrament and this is my tenth year here.  I have taught Kindergarten, second and third grades.

The things I Iove about teaching are helping children learn and watching my students raise their hands excitedly with the answer shining on their faces. I love to try new ideas and see if they help students learn concepts more easily.  Most importantly is the privilege I have teaching in a Catholic school and sharing my faith every day and in every subject.
