Physical Education Instructor: Ron Hiebert - read bio

Extracurricular Activity: Walking Club

All students K-8 participate in Physical Education.  Students will need sneakers or tennis shoes, with a “non-marking” sole, to be left at school and used exclusively for the gym.  These shoes are “in-addition-to” the students’ everyday shoes.

Blessed Sacrament School is a member of the Wichita Catholic School Athletic League. Every student is given the opportunity to participate in football, basketball, volleyball, track, cross-country, and cheerleading. Players and coaches view good sportsmanship and Christian-like behavior a higher priority than winning. This is also carried through within our parish-sponsored youth summer sports programs (T-ball, baseball and softball).

Sports are offered to Blessed Sacrament students in grades six through eight. They are 8th grade girls cheerleading, girls’ volleyball, boys’ football, girls and boys basketball, and girls and boys track and field and cross country. Students must meet and maintain academic requirements to participate. Athletes are also held to high behavioral standards in order to participate.
