Students gain a firm grasp of American History and develop strong skills in the geography of our country as well as a general awareness of the history and geography of other societies. Students map geography to enrich textual study.

The pinnacle of the history/social studies program is a field trip with teacher, Sharla Canada, to Washington, D.C. For nearly a decade Ms. Canada has enriched our students’ knowledge of American History with this extraordinary trip for 7th and 8th graders.
