The Service Team is a group of students who, led by CYO Advisors, are the driving organizational force behind CYO. They organize events, coordinate time for stewardship, help to create opportunities for service and outreach, and host monthly events. Most of all, their main commitment is to help facilitate the spiritual growth of the other students through the activities and values which they promote.

Social Justice & Stewardship
It is hard to have high school ministry without a group of people who focus entirely on sharing the faith and ministering to others. That is why the Social Justice/Stewardship team coordinates volunteer efforts, as well as Alternative Spring Break trips and other outings to the Lord’s Diner. The Social Justice and Stewardship coordinators are here to help you experience the amazing sensation of giving your time freely and wholly to others, and they would love for you to help them with the never-ending task of caring for those who need it most.

Community Building/Social
Community Building can be described using one simple word: FUN! Every time there is a social event hosted by the Blessed Sacrament CYO, you can bet that Community Building probably had something to do with it! The coordinators of this committee are responsible for everything from cook outs to game nights to parties. They do everything from coordinating trips to movies, game nights, & keeping the CYO Room stocked with snacks for when students want to just come and hang out and have a good time. The Community Building Coordinators want you to have a great time in CYO, and will go out of their way to make sure you do just that!

Spirituality
The Spirituality Coordinators provide you with every opportunity to grow as a Catholic. They also provide the most fun of the year through activities where you get literal and spiritual food, plan the fabulous retreats annually that let you take a break from the daily grind and help you focus and grow in your spiritual life.

Communications
Without the Communications Committee, there is no way of knowing what is happening at BS! The entire purpose of this committee is to let all BS high school students know what is going on every month in CYO. The coordinators of this committee make use of the internet through the Blessed Sacrament website and Facebook to keep everyone up to day on the current events happening at the chapel. They are also responsible for advertising events in the parish and HS’s, and making phone calls to others teens. The Communications Coordinators’ hope is to keep you informed so that you never miss out on anything that is happening with CYO.
